Dreams become reality on the beach at the Hilton Resort at Longboat Key where Jessica Stevens helps couples plan for their once-in-a-lifetime event.  The Hilton offers several options for ceremonies and receptions. This couple chose to have not only their wedding, but also their reception, under a tented area on the beach!

blue and white bridal bouquets Guests were greeted by two large bamboo vases of graceful palm fronds at the back of the aisle. The couple walked up to a bamboo arch covered with sheer organza fabric that was flanked with two floral sprays of Bombay blue orchids and white roses.

The bride chose a traditional all-white rose bouquet with natural stems banded with off-white ribbon. The bases of the bouquet’s stems were exposed to give the piece a lovely, natural look. The bridesmaids, in their soft blue dresses, carried blue hydrangeas with white roses and lime green dendrobium orchids.

As the party moved into the tented reception area, the tabletop centerpieces gave a nice additional pop of color by adding hot pink spray roses to blue hydrangea mounds with lime green button chrysanthemums.  This casual look was a perfect selection for the tables in the big tent. blue hydrangea wedding centerpieces

The team at Flowers by Fudgie had fun creating this couple’s great, fun destination wedding.  Kimberly Dyer of Kimberly Dyer Photography captured the whole event so they would remember it always.

Maria Brady of Choreographed Events is always great to work with.  She brought in special linen for the cake and head table that were just exquisite.  Planning this up scaled wedding was a huge undertaking but done with easy by Maria.  You will see by looking at our photo gallery that Tibor of Imley Photography, did an outstanding job capturing the event.

centerpiece-with-branches-and-crystals I do not think I have seen the Ritz Carlton Ballroom as grand with the soft lighting effect and fabric draping done by Affairs in the Air, coupled with the striking arrangements that the Fudgie designers did on site.  Two styles of arrangements were used.   Both in tall vases but one with long  white orchids with chandeliered hanging votives and the other of tall curly willow branches with white dendrobium orchids attached and crystals garlands raining from the branches and many hanging votive candles.  The branches stood 5 to 6’ tall of the tables which filled the room with it tall ceiling.

ritz-carlton-with-fabric-draping-and-uplighting-and-flowers The long head table with its fabulous linen was flanked with two 36” all crystal 5 branch candelabrum topped with white orchids and then lined with dozens of candles between.  The place card table in the pre function area at the Ritz had a vase of tall curly willow branches with crystals and tiny orchids on monofilament. The monofilament rained from its branches.  This impressive piece was in the center of all the place cards that spiraled out from it base.

The sparkle of the crystals in the candlelight made for an absolutely awesome look.

Couple can choose the logia as this bride did, or the gazebo or a water view on the lawn.

 

  Bridal -bouquet

This featured couple used Limelight Photography for their all white wedding.  The bride chose a clean look using all white roses for her bridal bouquet that was hand tied with an initial on the handle  and the bridesmaids carried a garden mix of all white and cream tone flowers.  The front arch on the logia was draped with fabric by Affairs in the Air and green plants from Made in the Shade added a little softness to either side of the fountain as the background for the ceremony.

Tall vases of curly willow branches with white dendrobium orchids sprays graced the tables.  This was a natural look that gave some elevation on the guest tables.  Also on the place card table a vase of manzanita branches with sprays of crystals tied in nicely with the guest table arrangements.
